00:00:00: in India.

00:00:04: And it's been promulgated out of Aakhan, Testosterohoxool aakhan.

00:00:26: I visit Gorades, we are in Hakan.

00:00:30: So meeting with Radhadees and Gorades has a very special reason to meet these people from the Gorades congregation is that they have become Vice President Seva for Gorades.

00:00:42: My main hobby of working at Gorades is having a holiday festival and all festivals And also, we have seen devotees, sannyasis, organized retreats and seminars.

00:01:04: And also outreach programs, preaching programs, outreach, inter-religion dialogue with Hindu conference.

00:01:22: So it's market is a coordination of from Goragis right?

00:01:30: Yeah, this is over miss.

00:01:32: It said with dry kinder and medicine is ok in Aachen University.

00:01:35: as he marked the medicine studio in Achan University Ted The undead doctor isn't class soul his gymnasium.

00:01:42: these suicide are here in Hamburg.

00:01:43: I was remarked on a seminar.

00:01:45: genomes and seminal tile In Mexico ring.

00:01:48: hear an old phone phone Humber.

00:01:52: She made a four-writings course for the medicine studio in Germany.

00:01:57: This is her five day seminar, that's why I'm here with my doctor.

00:02:01: It was told to me by Dr.

00:02:02: Hilfern so she can absorb this course and have a seminar on TMS test of the medicine studios.

00:02:12: And then we got a service from his grace.

00:02:20: Jai Gora Prabhu and Vaitanath Prabhu thus is there.

00:02:24: The classes given, Zontag Fais class given has been disqualificated for the classes to be given while here are senior devotees in Bhakti.

00:02:37: And Jai Guru Prabhu is personally for Phubhar here, Prabhupad Sulaar who has not qualified because it can't be said when he's here but this is a Seva.

00:02:48: that why we have to do this.

00:02:54: It's been in Dharam Sankat, actually.

00:02:58: So this is how it is in Dhramsankat for me.

00:03:11: And it's most of vital London.

00:03:21: It was this good year and vast is for many Guru Janas, for senior Vesnavas, his Gillard Haber... This must know as parrot.

00:03:27: As parrot of Deutsche is the highest of parrots.

00:03:30: Pappagai!

00:03:31: Yeah, he spoke like a parrot.

00:03:34: While he was having fun with my guru janas from senior devotees, Gillard had a small tear.

00:03:39: in fact we'd have hold him here via pappagaya.

00:04:56: So, bit of zealons-y.

00:07:20: Thank you very much.

00:08:02: Here Anfangankam It's a short one, very short.

00:08:08: I think everybody of you know it of the Nabdiv Dham.

00:08:18: He was still married, he has not taken sannyas and he is singing this wonderful small kirtan.

00:13:21: For this Sunday first gathering for new year.

00:13:40: so we will try to meditate something.

00:13:43: Prupada actually says that for Vesnav, every day is a new year.

00:13:54: For us it's not special.

00:13:56: we just celebrate one special day where there will be calendar change from December the first of January because everyday is very special and I think you agree with me on this point?

00:15:00: We have to organise in Germany.

00:15:09: How much do you need to translate into German?

00:15:56: So, with your permission to rule can we start?

00:16:03: Hare Krishna.

00:16:05: We are starting the first day of New Year.

00:16:07: Of course, in the material world everybody is celebrating new year so that devotees always try to spiritualize the festivals which materialistic people also celebrate.

00:16:16: So we can celebrate in a spiritual way and we can have something.

00:16:22: look back some reflections on our life, spiritual life & future forward.

00:16:27: It's always good And as I said, Tupada says everyday it will be a new year for us.

00:16:33: But sometimes I'm very fast, so please remind me then i can become slow.

00:16:37: I speak normally very fast.

00:16:38: So yeah...I will try my best to stay slow.

00:16:44: Yes We we'll have..we take the view of Bhagavad Gita.

00:16:52: How Bhagavada Gita?

00:16:54: What is the perspective on Bhagavata Gita about New Year resolutions?

00:16:58: Bhagavath Gita has everything!

00:17:00: We can draw all lessons from Bhagavat Gita And I tried myself to...I just made this class first time today and was preparing during the four mithak, before known session.

00:17:14: This presentation directly fresh-made!

00:17:17: And i was thinking that how bring a Bhagavad Gita prospective into new year?

00:17:23: Because devotees must look everything from scriptures eyes.

00:17:28: Devotees don't have their own eye.

00:17:30: We dont'have our own eyes Because our eyes are defective.

00:17:35: Our material eyes are defected.

00:17:38: Rupa says we have four defects, four senses and eyes is one of the sense.

00:17:44: so because our senses are defecting We cannot see with these eyes the reality that truth.

00:17:51: So you can to see from Sastra Chakshu it's called sastra chakshuu The vision of scriptures.

00:18:01: That why I thought everybody celebrating New Year and people are making new year resolutions.

00:18:08: I was also making a new year resolution when I was doing my engineering, then I was working on my research so everybody wasn't thinking about it.

00:18:17: but that's very difficult hard time because its not maintained for long.

00:18:26: It is only short term and we go to the normal rhythm to maintain the new year resolutions or any resolutions which we make, to gain something out of it.

00:18:39: Some goal setting... We say goal-setting like this as a goal.

00:18:45: So I was meditating since two three days and how do bring this perspective from Bhagavad Gita?

00:18:54: And then i found one sloka.

00:18:56: actually there are many slokas.

00:18:57: to be very frank Silke Mataji was asking me which sloka you were talking about.

00:19:02: I said, mataji i don't know because there are many slokas that is found while searching.

00:19:07: so will decide on the same day or most yesterday night and thought okay let me take those two three slokahs one of them from chapter II ,I'll discuss this with you to get perspective for new year.

00:19:24: how deal with these resolutions?

00:19:28: can we go from resolutions to reflections, maybe it is or resolutions to realizations.

00:19:35: Realizations are more important.

00:19:40: so I will normally do.

00:19:42: we chant a verse and after chanting a verse read the translation and per part.

00:19:48: but today's class i make little bit different because of this new year class.

00:19:52: So this sloka will come.

00:19:55: actually two three slokas have selected.

00:19:57: The sloka will come later on.

00:19:58: First I want to make a background for you and after the background, then we chant together the sloka.

00:20:08: And before we begin our class We always do auspicious invocations Mangalacharan.

00:20:13: This mangalacharan is one of my devotees.

00:20:14: You all know We do the mangala charan which is called Auspicious invocation To invite auspiciousness so that whatever project Whatever seva or service we have taken We get blessings from senior devotees, Vesnavas and we also please the Lord.

00:20:34: We do it for the pleasure of the Lord.

00:20:35: so this is why we do auspicious invocations.

00:20:40: So let us chant together.

00:20:41: you know the mantras?

00:20:42: I have simple Mangalacharan today...so i just printed because on screen may be some new people new guests are attending in the Santay festival..so i also have these on the screen mukaṁ karoti vācālaṁ pāngum langya te gareem yaktir patam haṁ bandhe ki burodhi na tāraṇam om ajñānati mirandhasyā jñānan janā salākhiyā chakśur unmṛtan ye nahā Namaste Saraswati Devi Namaste Saraswathi Devi Kauravani Prachari Ne Neer Visesah Sunyabhadi Nirvisesah sunyabhaadi Pashchathya Desetharine Namo Mahavadanyaya Krishna Premapradayana Krishna Prematradayan Krishna Ayakrishna Chaitanya.

00:22:43: In the name of the Lord, the most Gracious, ever Merciful.

00:23:04: Jai Sri Krishna Chaitanya Prabhu Nityananda Sri Advaita Gadadhara.

00:23:52: So let us start.

00:23:55: our discussion today, why resolutions should focus on habits not goals.

00:24:00: So actually when we make a new year resolution then we set the goal I want to achieve this in.

00:24:24: As a university researcher, scientist I have to write books and research papers.

00:24:32: So when... ...I am setting the target for new book To write a new book that this year i had to write a book.

00:24:44: Then sometimes or most of time it comes my book should be best in class Like whatever topic I'm writing.

00:24:53: This would become best seller.

00:24:54: This is ambition.

00:24:57: For example I take resolution as goal.

00:24:59: I take a goal that now this year, i have to write one book and it should become the best seller.

00:25:08: If you make such a goal or resolution then there is danger in it because when we are already deciding if they will be the best sellers There's big chance.

00:25:20: everything is not in our control.

00:25:22: All parameters all activities When writing about topic, current scenario, technologies, market current demand, we don't know.

00:25:33: They can change every time.

00:25:34: now AI is coming artificial intelligence robotics this and that so the things might.

00:25:39: if I choose myself my books would become a bestseller.

00:25:43: then i cannot control the end result And I will become too much attached with the results.

00:25:52: There are many factors which may not make My book as a best seller.

00:25:58: Then I feel very frustrated When we make resolutions and say I want to achieve this, my final goal.

00:26:13: Then there is a big chance with risk that when you don't do it then become frustrated or sad about it.

00:26:24: but better approach is that we develop habit.

00:26:32: for example Don't say the target that my book will become bestseller book this year.

00:26:40: I make a target That i Will write every day something nice, i'll write Something Nice.

00:26:47: This this Target this resolution i can take not that My Book will be Bestseller.

00:26:51: so we Take Small small Steps.

00:26:54: So then i will Make A habit Slowly.

00:26:56: i will Write Every Day Something Writing and When i miss someday due to Their Circumstances in our life We cannot control.

00:27:06: So we might miss but then it will not be a big frustration.

00:27:09: Okay, maybe I would write tomorrow two pages today.

00:27:11: Normally one page every day to my wife and right two pages.

00:27:15: so this way i can continue with my habit.

00:27:18: And if you become a process?

00:27:20: It'll come in process.

00:27:22: Otherwise attachment to the call to the goals now when they make a big goes big-big.

00:27:27: You know bigger targets or resolutions.

00:27:32: it can cause some demoralization where your note able to fulfill them and repeated failure may lead to quit home.

00:27:41: We can quit.

00:27:42: oh I cannot make it.

00:27:45: sorry, one day will come when we completely quit.

00:27:49: for example some people made...I'll do all the sixteen rounds before taking prasadam in the morning.

00:27:58: i have to face all my rounds before take prasada.

00:28:01: then becomes very difficult because sometimes you are hungry.

00:28:05: maybe some illness is there.

00:28:07: Some people have diabetes, they need to eat very easily.

00:28:12: They cannot eat without eating.

00:28:13: so they can not wait until that finish the sixteen rounds but then make a resolution.

00:28:19: and when do it?

00:28:20: It is big frustration for them.

00:28:22: oh I broke my promise!

00:28:24: When this promises broken five times six time than say oh i cant maintain it Then completely drop it The whole resolution goes away.

00:28:32: rather we should say I try my best, maybe not sixteen rounds but i do eight rounds or four rounds.

00:28:44: I make it a habit like slowly-slowly and increase first month this second month so that we don't become failure.

00:28:53: We can continue to sustain our goal.

00:28:57: This is called Habit Building.

00:28:59: Habit building creates lasting inner change Because we are not attached with the final results.

00:29:08: rather, We're doing in a process.

00:29:11: I will share one nice thing about this process.

00:29:16: So when you make it habit now then It becomes an autopilot mode because habits very easy to follow.

00:29:22: so rather than setting a Final goal which would make it a habit To do something In small steps like author like rather Than producing a best-seller book we should start writing One page every day two pages everyday.

00:29:36: The habits create healthy autopilot mode so that we continue this further.

00:29:45: And when there is a setback, it's easier to handle because if you miss one day or two days... ...we can cover up and overcome.

00:29:52: We can raise two pages someday three-pages some day.

00:29:54: So these are called inner transformation.

00:29:58: It is subtle but certain.

00:30:01: So the inner transformation is very important rather than external promises making some external resolutions hard resolutions And this is aligned with Bhagavad Gita, two point four seven.

00:30:16: I will come to this wonderful shloka.

00:30:19: Before that i want explain something.

00:30:21: When we are doing some activity Some process So the activity in a process There's a point A Then like at beginning and there's an end And then goal.

00:30:34: so they're start of activities and goals.

00:30:39: In between.

00:30:39: these is a process to achieve the goal, attain the goal.

00:30:44: Some people think that when we achieve our goals will become happy.

00:30:50: how many things?

00:30:52: How many thing that when you achieve your goals would be happy?

00:30:59: Okay!

00:30:59: Many are saying... When I was in school and always thinking..when i get best marks in my gymnasium in my schools then I'll have been happy.

00:31:13: where I got the best no term I will become happy.

00:31:16: Then, somehow it was not the best but one of the best.

00:31:21: then i went to university and got admission into the Best University in India also for engineering.

00:31:28: Then when you are thinking about getting a Best University I would be happy But at that time it wasn't the end actually.

00:31:34: So working very hard day & night finally you get the best university.

00:31:39: Okay, you are then there other best in the university.

00:31:42: You know when we go to the best University than you have many other best before you.

00:31:46: so Then your again frustrated?

00:31:47: So what I would like to say is that our final perfection or final happiness The final satisfaction Is not a goal When we target it all when we achieve a seal set some where we achieved the gold.

00:32:03: This is not the final happiness.

00:32:05: this is not moment of happiness for us a movement of satisfaction But the process itself, how I achieve this goal?

00:32:14: How i do it.

00:32:15: How i plan..how i execute this.

00:32:19: This is a source of happiness and should be the source of Happiness.

00:32:24: The happiness lies or satisfaction lies in the process not on its own because when we think We will become happy When you achieve our goals then what happens?

00:32:41: We become attached to the result, to a final result.

00:32:47: But what Bhagavad Gita says.

00:32:49: let us come to our sloka very famous sloka.

00:32:52: everybody knows this sloka.

00:32:54: Bhagavada Gita chapter two, sloka number forty seven.

00:33:06: Maybe he's this... Bhagavata Guru you can read that translation.

00:33:13: You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled for the fruits of action.

00:33:20: Never consider yourself cause-of-the-results or activities and never be attached.

00:33:26: do NOT doing your duties Yes.

00:33:28: So this Saloka is an eye-opener saloka for us And it's very important in our personal life Family Life Social Life Spiritual Life Professional Life.

00:33:40: Most of that time We set some goals, we have some duties to perform Some responsibilities to do.

00:33:45: Some prescribed duties And every duty and activity has a result.

00:33:52: For example is student A student?

00:33:56: if he thinks that I need to take Norton Ainz in Gimnasium So then i get the best university in Germany Then He will work for this Ainz-Ainz-ainz And he don't get Ainz there, he gets Ainz comma from one point five or two.

00:34:13: then he will be very unhappy.

00:34:14: So, what is recommended for a student?

00:34:16: Is that you do your work hard You study consistently Do your duty But don't attach with the results because result is not in your head.

00:34:26: Result is not on his hand.

00:34:27: He can study and give exam but after the exam The result come which are not in our hands.

00:34:33: This is what Krishna is saying.

00:34:35: so when we do Sealsets this goal setting Then We should think we become happy achieve our goal, attain our goals.

00:34:44: Rather the process for a student is studying different subjects history physics chemistry biology mathematics.

00:34:54: when he study all these chapters study with his teachers and co-students friends then he's enjoying this process.

00:35:00: He enjoys class room, he likes to study with other children discussing in classes nice relations with students.

00:35:09: so we should enjoy that process of study and not that okay after the plus two I should get eyes, then i will become happy.

00:35:17: no because Krishna says result is not in your hand only you are.

00:35:21: duty is on a hand.

00:35:23: Your activity is in your hands.

00:35:25: so we should enjoy.

00:35:27: process but not goal.

00:35:31: by enjoying we attach ourselves to become asakta which is not recommended.

00:35:37: otherwise we get frustration when don't get it.

00:35:40: something also a lesson for the new year that we enjoy whatever we do, what ever activity we do.

00:35:46: We so many spiritual activities.

00:35:49: when you go book distribution this will not say become happy then make hundred books or fifty books Bhagavad Gita.

00:35:58: no in each Bhagavada Gita distribution we can enjoy and feel pleasure and satisfaction because each Bhagavat Gita giving someone is very big thing.

00:36:09: it give result.

00:36:12: So we should focus on that, we should enjoy the process itself.

00:36:19: Now I want to discuss these things.

00:36:21: you know this thing.

00:36:23: There is something called sambandha.

00:36:25: Sambandh gyan abhi de gyan and prio jana gyan.

00:36:29: What is sambandhan?

00:36:29: Can you say what is sambhanda?

00:36:33: It's relationship but what does it mean here?

00:36:42: relationship What does it say?

00:36:45: When we say sambandh gyan, what do you mean?

00:36:51: Yes.

00:36:51: So sambandh gyaan is who I am and Who Is God And what my relation with God.

00:37:03: This is sambandha gyaana.

00:37:05: What is the relationship of Lord and God?

00:37:13: In the Brahma Sutra, in the Vedanta Sutra The first sloka...the first sutra It is called Athato-Brahma-Jiggyasa.

00:37:24: Athato means when as a human being we are doing so many activities which animals also do.

00:37:31: you know all this?

00:37:32: but A Human Being becomes real proper human beings.

00:37:36: He's human form of life.

00:37:37: When he thinks that now I want to know who am Who is God and what's my relation with God?

00:37:48: This is called Athato Brahma Jagyasa.

00:37:49: This is Samadhyam.

00:37:51: So this is Godavitayaki, this is Sadhu Bhupadwani.

00:38:00: And then next... Next when we know our relationship to the God When I am knowing who is God What are the next steps?

00:38:11: Abhideya.

00:38:12: What does abhidey mean?

00:38:20: Can someone say it?

00:38:28: What is this meaning?

00:38:33: Process.

00:38:33: Thank you so much dear devotees!

00:38:35: So, abhides process.

00:38:36: how I have a relation...I am soul and Bhagawan is super-soul.

00:38:41: He's supreme father And I'm his son.

00:38:46: but i was lost.

00:38:49: You go to Kumbh Mela in India.

00:38:50: There are millions of people and every year so many thousands lost there with their parents, they're lost.

00:38:58: Similarly we also lost from our parent or real parent but true parent Krishna.

00:39:02: So I'm In the sambandhyan.

00:39:04: i know oh he's my father He is my real Father.

00:39:07: But Abide says how do revive that relationship?

00:39:11: How to re-establish this relationship?

00:39:14: This is a process.

00:39:18: And third one Okay, now we are doing this process reviving our relationship with the Lord.

00:39:24: We do some activities.

00:39:27: I will discuss these what activities we do and then The last is when?

00:39:55: Why I am doing this Abhideya why?

00:39:57: I'm going the process.

00:39:58: What is a reason for this process?

00:40:00: So, I will do it for some result.

00:40:04: and what does that result?

00:40:12: But we get so Krishna Prema.

00:40:24: Yeah, it's not prema is the Priyajana That we get love of God.

00:40:29: but my dear devotees how we know, if you are getting love of God.

00:40:36: How do We Know that?

00:40:38: whatever we're doing Abhidey our process If You Are Getting Perfection ,if you are Getting Our Results..how Do We Know?

00:40:49: So this samband abhideya and priojana...we will discuss it And This is also related with the New Year Resolution Because I have to bring you from Resolution To Realization.

00:40:58: That's why i took this topic.

00:41:01: So Dear devotees Priyojana But Priyozana Is Why we do it and how?

00:41:08: We know if you are doing correctly.

00:41:11: This is very important.

00:41:12: What other checks and balances?

00:41:15: checks first we discuss Abhideya, Priyajan sambandha.

00:41:22: we discussed our relationship with the lord.

00:41:28: then The major part of priyaja.

00:41:30: see this first part is very easy sambanda.

00:41:34: Then from Bhagavad Gita chapter two, we are the soul.

00:41:39: Bhagawan is super-soul and he's our supreme father.

00:41:42: This we know theoretically Still it not practical.

00:41:45: We know theoretically.

00:41:45: Somebody told us Some senior devotee told us No?

00:41:48: We know from Bhagawad Gitta.

00:41:50: But major part Is Abhideya.

00:41:53: It takes ninety percent, ninety five percent Of that time of our life The abhidey process.

00:42:01: Now you go to the abhidaya In the avidya, I want to tell you one thing because we are talking about New Year resolutions and Prabhupada says every day is a new year for us.

00:42:15: Every Day we do new.

00:42:17: Navyognam chayat.

00:42:19: Krishna is everyday new.

00:42:20: Radharani is Everyday new.

00:42:22: Nam-nu-tanam.

00:42:24: Devotees also everyday new.

00:42:25: Bhaktivinoda Thakur says that We should not wait for renewal For one year, we should not wait.

00:42:33: One year.

00:42:34: that after one year I make a review and then i look back And Then I Look forward After One Year.

00:42:40: No Seela Bhakti.

00:42:43: We know the Thakur.

00:42:44: Who is our main Acharya?

00:42:46: He's a Seventh Goswami.

00:42:48: he's considered as a seventh Goswamy.

00:42:50: The Great Personality.

00:42:51: Our Param Guru Is the Guru of Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Mahi's father of bhakti siddhanda Sathya Thakura and Bhaktivinoda Thakuru says That Review, not every year.

00:43:05: Our past days of our last years and forward.

00:43:09: we should review at least every... Atleast he is saying minimum.

00:43:15: Principally you should review everyday.

00:43:17: I will come to this point later on.

00:43:19: but Bhaktivinoda Thakur says He's very linear.

00:43:22: He's kind Very liberal Bhakti Vinodath Thakura And he said You shall review Every Ekadasi.

00:43:30: We should review every Ekadasi.

00:43:33: This is the instruction and guidance, guideline recommendation of Bhaktiviroda Thakur.

00:43:40: And what he has also told we have to review?

00:43:43: He did not just say that we need to review!

00:43:45: He's very objective...He's very focused..he's very specific.... He wants help us.....and he said......we must review three slokas from Sila Rupa Goswami.

00:44:01: Three slokas from Rupa Goswami, we have to review every Ecclesi.

00:44:07: My dear devotees you all know these slokars.

00:44:09: they are very famous slokahs.

00:44:12: I will go one by one slowly and very briefly not going in detail but just want tell what he has said for us.

00:44:19: And this is Abhideha.

00:44:23: So first sloka the three slokaj of Nectar of Devote, Nectara of Instruction.

00:44:28: Actually there total eleven slokhas.

00:44:29: All are important for us.

00:44:31: So they are very important, all of us.

00:44:35: They're the master for all the devotees... ...for Sadhaka!

00:44:41: But I will just touch on three slokas which Bhakti Thakur Maharaj has said.

00:44:46: First sloka he says.

00:45:02: So what Bhaktivinoda Hakur says is a sober person who can tolerate?

00:45:09: He's talking about mainly three to four things.

00:45:12: the make three things are very important The urge to speak, Who Can Tolerate the urge To Speak.

00:45:17: The Minds Demand and the actions of anger And Of course that tongue belly and genitals.

00:45:26: he Is Qualified to Make Disciples all over the world.

00:45:29: so such A Person is Called Goswami.

00:45:31: Goswamy Means Go means our senses, and Swami means who has controlled the senses.

00:45:38: So his Sachinananda Bhaktivinoda Hakur Maharaj says that a sober person must always control three things or control.

00:45:53: Keep it full-control.

00:45:54: Urges to speak.

00:45:55: there are three things Mansa, Vacha, Karmana, they're three things.

00:46:00: Mind.

00:46:01: We have to control our mind, what we are thinking where were going?

00:46:06: What you're thinking is very important for us.

00:46:09: So minds of our mind mind-control.

00:46:11: and Bhagavad Gita Is the best for mind-controlled because Arjuna asked Krishna Chanchala has a Mahakrishna.

00:46:20: oh Krishna this man is very chanchal.

00:46:22: This is very very naughty.

00:46:25: it is uncontrollable level.

00:46:26: So, Bhaktivinoda Thakur is saying we have to control the mind because it can go anywhere anytime.

00:46:39: Mantra is a set of lines which can control the mind.

00:47:02: This is the definition for mantra, so what are mantras for us?

00:47:08: Hare Krishna Mahamantra.

00:47:10: When we chant Hare Krishna Maha Mantra regularly then it controls our mind.

00:47:14: We have to review did we chant it nicely in last one or two weeks from last ekalasi to this ecalasi?

00:47:22: Did you chant it nice and did your mind be controlled?

00:47:26: And we can speak anything.

00:47:27: You know, now that people are speaking... We have freedom of speech!

00:47:30: Nowadays there is very important... Freedom of speech.

00:47:34: and people think freedom of speeches means whatever they want.

00:47:38: Whatever you want to be in a speech?

00:47:40: We have Facebook, Instagram.

00:47:43: I don't know all the names but not so much fan of social media But for Krishna Consciousness will use it For our temple programs.

00:47:52: There's many social medias like WhatsApp, Instagram Facebook, so people speak anything.

00:47:57: They write and they speak anything.

00:47:59: So Bhakti Vinod Thakur.

00:48:00: then we have to check what we speak Because it can agitate others It can agitate ourselves It can make offenses.

00:48:10: We should be very careful about speaking.

00:48:12: And then actions.

00:48:13: What do?

00:48:14: We also control our actions.

00:48:17: So Mansa, Vacha, Karamana These three things Our activities...what activity are doing?

00:48:21: And then Jibhya Archij of Tang is very, very important.

00:48:27: Tung is the most important sense in our body which we have to control because if we...because tongue has two functions.

00:48:38: Tongue has function of speaking Vacha.

00:48:42: So we should speak very honest things where Bhagawan Sri Krishna says in chapter seven-three that we must be very honest and truthful what he speaks.

00:48:51: And we need something which is Priyam Hitam Chai which is making the welfare of others, which is sweet to other.

00:49:01: And this what we speak from that tongue.

00:49:04: and then another thing is... What do you eat?

00:49:08: There are two things which are important speaking and eating.

00:49:11: so if we only eat krishna prasadam Then our tongue control whole body in control.

00:49:18: mind is in control because Krishna Prasadama can purify us Our heart By Krishna, then we can purify our senses and get the taste of that chanting in the spiritual process.

00:49:33: So these are all things which Bhaktivinoda Thakur says.

00:49:37: And there is another sloka.

00:49:39: He said three slokas you have to review.

00:49:41: What did he do for last two weeks?

00:49:46: The other sloka is Atyaha Raha Priya Sascha Hai Prajal Po Niyamaah Graha Jagsanghasya Lollyamchaya Sanveer Bhakti Vinash Chati.

00:49:55: So, Bhaktipiraj Sakur says this sloka is also very important for us.

00:49:59: We have to review the sloka in last two weeks and what we need to do?

00:50:04: Once devotional service is spoiled when he becomes too entangled with the following six activities.

00:50:10: Six activities...we must make a list of them.

00:50:13: What these activities did was done over the past two weeks since the last Ekadasi.

00:50:20: Eating more than necessary or collecting more funds is required.

00:50:23: Atyahara means collecting, doing too much.

00:50:27: When we do anything to much this is called anything too much.

00:50:31: Too much eating?

00:50:32: Too much sleeping?

00:50:33: Too Much collecting money?

00:50:36: Everything too much is called atyahara Atyaharaya Priyasaschaeya.

00:50:40: What is priyasya?

00:50:41: Priyasasa is over endeavouring.

00:50:45: We sometimes need certain amount of money for our life, but we try to get more and then it is called extra endeavor.

00:50:59: We should not do an extra endeavor because by doing the extra endeavor you put all your energy there or efforts in that and lose most other priority things of this life.

00:51:11: just getting one thing material.

00:51:14: so much endeavor for the mundane things.

00:51:19: Then he said, yeah, Atya Haare Priyasa says, Prijalpo is unnecessarily speaking.

00:51:27: like I told already jibhya we have to control our tongue.

00:51:30: We are doing prijalpa whatever comes over mind were just speaking.

00:51:33: freedom of speech.

00:51:34: No!

00:51:35: We're careful.

00:51:35: what you are speaking What your speaking?

00:51:38: You'll be careful then.

00:51:40: Niyam Agraha Niyama Agra means practicing scriptural rules and regulations only for so sake of following them or not the spiritual advancement.

00:51:51: Whatever rules and regulations we are following, you have to do it for the spiritual advancements Not just for sake of followings.

00:51:57: ya somebody told me I am doing no-no.

00:51:59: We need see why?

00:52:00: Why i'm doing this And what is purpose in doing these?

00:52:04: It's my own sense gratification My own satisfying myself Or satisfaction of devotees Satisfaction of Krishna.

00:52:12: We always judge with this whatever activity.

00:52:15: Is it for my satisfaction or is the satisfaction of Bhagwan?

00:52:20: So that's why Niyama Agra has.

00:52:21: Then Jamsanghasya laul yamchaya, jamsanghyasya means association.

00:52:26: Jamsanga...association with people.

00:52:29: So we have to avoid the association between materialistic and mundane people.

00:52:33: We need review this every two weeks in Ekatsi.

00:52:37: Of course I will come later on what is real recommendation but Bhaktivinoda Thakur is very kind so he gives us time.

00:52:45: So, he says on Ekatsi we should review what kind of association I got in the last.

00:52:51: Did you get a bad?

00:52:52: Because We are what with whom we are.

00:52:56: We become what we associate.

00:53:01: If we associate it to bad people then they will be good people and we become good.

00:53:06: A rotten apple is in basket.

00:53:09: all other apples becomes rotten.

00:53:11: so we have to be careful with Jan Sanghasya.

00:53:13: We should not associate with the materialistic people and we should be very careful in our association.

00:53:19: And laudliya means greediness, we also shouldn't be greedy about the materialist achievements.

00:53:26: These are sloka number two which bhaktivinoda says that we have to review every ecstasy.

00:53:39: Then point three is... The last six points were which can destroy our bhakti, the last six point.

00:53:48: Now in the Soloka III he is giving six points that can fruitify our bhakti and glorify our Bhakti Which will make our Bhakti more favourable.

00:53:59: What are these six points?

00:54:02: Being enthusiastic We have to be very enthusiastic Always enthusiastic for service.

00:54:08: Whatever service we get We should be enthusiastic about it.

00:54:11: And Nischar, endeavouring with confidence... we have to do this with confidence and because when you are confident then in a better way for pleasure of Krishna Then Dharia, dhara.

00:54:27: with patience.

00:54:27: You also need to do with patience.

00:54:29: Keep patience not in Hari Always with patience, with Dhare.

00:54:34: Then Sangat Yagati is to avoid the bad association.

00:54:38: This we discussed in the last rukha.

00:54:40: Why Bhakti Rupa Goswami is repeating sanga, this association?

00:54:44: It's very important!

00:54:45: The association it's very impotent.

00:54:47: That's why Rupa Goswamy is repeating again Sangat yagad.

00:54:50: We have to avoid that bad association.

00:54:53: Satva vritti means following the footsteps of elevated personalities Following the foot steps of previous acharyas, sadhus You need follow them.

00:55:04: how they do you also must follow their footsteps.

00:55:08: So, this is the three slokas which I think Bhakti Giroh that Thakur says we should not celebrate new year one time in sixty-five days but we should do it every ecstasy.

00:55:20: That we should review these slokahs and make a list of what i did last two weeks.

00:55:27: so please remember these sloka's.

00:55:28: This was worth to remember.

00:55:29: My dear devotees my request you Please remember by heart These sloka.

00:55:34: they are wonderful Slokas.

00:55:36: You can print them and put them on the wall in your room, In your home.

00:55:40: And then you will know what is going with my life... ...you can review it at each point.

00:55:47: Now my dear devotees I'll come to Priyajana.

00:55:52: How much time we have to move?

00:55:54: We started a little bit late so... Ten-fifteen minutes?

00:56:05: Okay So this was last phase..we've now done Abideh Abhide.

00:56:11: we did, Bhaktivinoda Thakur told about the abhide.

00:56:15: We should do in Eethe Kansi.

00:56:16: Now we come to Priyajana, priyajanah is very important.

00:56:19: Priyaja means Krishna Prema ,we achieve love of God and our final destination The goal.

00:56:29: But thing that how you know that we have achieved our goals How can be known?

00:56:36: For That for that we had to believe.

00:56:40: own Krishna himself.

00:56:42: If we want to know if Krishna is happy with us, if you have a Krishna Prema then this would ask Krishna Himself...if Krishna You are happy with me?

00:56:51: With my work?

00:56:53: Krishna did you do really love Me?

00:56:57: Krishna Are you?

00:56:59: am I dear to you?

00:57:00: You had asked Krishna directly.

00:57:01: Krishna Am i Dear To You?

00:57:03: now you will ask me question that how We meet Krishna.

00:57:06: because Krishna was in Dua Par Yuga.

00:57:09: He was a friend of Pandavas, Arjun was talking to him.

00:57:12: Gopis were able to talk with Him.

00:57:14: With Yudhishthira was talking everybody was able to speak.

00:57:17: they can ask personally but now Krishna is not physically present as a person...as personality..with us.

00:57:22: So how?

00:57:24: we asked Krishna if we get a Priyajana?

00:57:28: If you have our goal of Krishna Prema ?

00:57:30: If our Bhakti's working ,if we are progressing in bhakti How will judge ourselves?

00:57:35: ?How do we evaluate ourselves?

00:57:39: This is how.

00:57:41: so there's a way my dear devotees Krishna is their.

00:57:46: Krishna Is they're in form of Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita himself.

00:57:51: He himself says in Bhakwad Geeta that Saddha Brahma Param Brahma mamobhe sa swathe tanu.

00:57:59: Krishna says, Saddh Brahma param brahma.

00:58:03: Brahma means God Brahmi Supreme Lord Brahm Param.

00:58:07: So Bhagwan see Krishna Himself says Srimad Bhagavatam Chapter Six, Kanto Six, Chapter Sixteen, Suloka Fifty One.

00:58:23: My dear devotees Krishna says that Sabdha Brahma and Param Brahm these are my two eternal forms.

00:58:30: Bhagawan Himself says I am in Two Forms.

00:58:34: one is as the Param Braham, Param Brahma.

00:58:36: I'm Supreme Personality of Godhead as a Krishna himself sometime as in Narayan as a Narsimha Dev, Sri Ram and Ramachandra as Balram.

00:58:49: So I am there as God personally available Supreme Personality of Godhead.

00:58:54: this is my one form.

00:58:56: And This Form Is Called Param Brahma.

00:58:58: and Bhagawan Says i have A second Form and The Second Form Is called Sapta-Brahma.

00:59:05: Sapta means Words Literature, Literary Writings, Scripture.

00:59:10: So Param Brahm, I am showing here in the screen.

00:59:13: Param Braham and that is Sapt Brahman.

00:59:15: The scriptures Bhagawan says... In the Vedas to be known.

00:59:23: I'm the creator of the Vedaj And in the knower of the vedas To be known in the Vedahs.

00:59:31: I have everything.

00:59:35: Sapt brahman, Bhagawan.

00:59:36: The Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads They are Krishna Himself.

00:59:40: they're the body of the Krishna.

00:59:42: They are the body of the Krishna.

00:59:44: Sivad Bhagavatam is a body of Krishna, you know this?

00:59:47: First two kanto's are the feet.

00:59:48: then second two kantos like three and four.

00:59:52: they're these parts thais.

00:59:57: Then we have navel fifth kanto ,then we have chest.

01:00:02: You know six kanto seventh and eight kanto soldiers .Then we have lotus feet.

01:00:06: No!

01:00:06: Then we had throught ninth kanto.

01:00:09: The lotus face is the tenth kanto in the lotus phase and the head is eleventh kanto, four-head.

01:00:15: Eleventh Kanto's head is twelfth kanto.

01:00:17: So Bhagawan Himself says I am the body, these scriptures are my body And similarly Bhagavad Gita.

01:00:24: in the Padampuran it was written that Bhagavadi Gita has an eighteen-limbed DT.

01:00:29: Bhagavada Gita is a DT with eighteen limbs.

01:00:32: This is... Padampuraan is same.

01:00:34: So Bhagawad Gitta is Krishna Himself.

01:00:37: Absolute Truth is divided into two parts Param Brahm and Sapta Brahma.

01:00:42: Param Brahm, you see different incarnations of the Lord and Krishna himself.

01:00:45: Samta-Brahma is Sruti and Smriti.

01:00:48: Srutis Vedas and Smrti's Puranas.

01:00:52: Ramayana Mahabharata, Itihas, Puranas... You know these are... And my dear devotees Bhagavad Gita is essence all the sastras, all the scriptures.

01:01:03: Sroti & Smrity.

01:01:05: Bhagavadh Gita both is Srotiyya and Botsamratty.

01:01:07: It is both!

01:01:08: Bhagavath Gita only scripture which comes in both the categories, sruti and smriti.

01:01:15: Sruti means something that is heard.

01:01:18: Sravana, heard...which is heard & passed on to the next.

01:01:21: It's heard by the sages as it is.

01:01:24: Vedas are srutis, Upanishads are srotis, which pass one through hearing process.

01:01:29: And Smriti is a remembering process where you remember all the big rishis, sadhus.

01:01:35: they remembered and then they make own realizations, experience.

01:01:40: And the write in their own words experiences, realizations.

01:01:44: They become Smriti, Puranas.

01:01:47: So Bhagavad Gita is Sruti because Krishna himself has given it to Arjuna by speaking and Arjuna has listened.

01:01:56: It's a sruti.

01:01:57: Srutis to listen!

01:01:59: And Smrti...because it was under Mahabharata.

01:02:02: In the middle of the Mahabhara, Bhagvad Gitta is part of the Maha Bharat.

01:02:06: That's why it is a Smriti because Mahabharata is an Itihas.

01:02:09: Itihass means something which has already happened, So...it has happened.

01:02:17: It is not mythology.

01:02:18: People say Mahabhara, Ramayana, Aulal, Bhagavad Gita are mythologies.

01:02:23: No!

01:02:23: It isn't Mythology but History.

01:02:24: It has Happened.

01:02:25: that's why its called Itihaaas.

01:02:28: History.

01:02:29: Its a history.

01:02:30: so Bhagavat Gita is the essence of all scriptures.

01:02:32: and now I come to my point.

01:02:37: When we want to know if Krishna really If you are dear to Krishna then We have to hear Krishna himself and Bhagavad Gita.

01:02:46: Krishna saying Bhagwad Geeta is Krishna Himself because it's Krishna's warning.

01:02:49: Krishna's words Is non-different from Krishna.

01:02:52: Satya Brahma Param Brahma, this is Satya Brahman Bhagwat Geetha.

01:02:56: in Bhagawad Geethe Krishna says in chapter twelve Sloka thirteen to sloka nineteen In seven slokas He says, if you have these qualities then you are most dear to.

01:03:16: If you develop this quality than become dear to me.

01:03:19: So Krishna has given so many list of qualities which every devotee around thirty qualities or more.

01:03:26: And he said that if we developed the qualities and became my dear He is directly saying, so now you can judge yourself.

01:03:33: So normally I do a seminar of two-three sessions seminar where in that seminar i go through each individual quality and then we discuss this quality for ten fifteen minutes.

01:03:46: Then we write our own realizations what I did with these qualities.

01:03:51: For example I have listed here twenty four qualities but they are more in the sloka.

01:04:00: to hate anybody at Vista free from

01:04:02: N.V.,

01:04:03: first one.

01:04:05: so we have to evaluate ourselves, write down our self.

01:04:08: are we envious of others?

01:04:10: what is the last incident when I was envious towards other?

01:04:13: We have to write it down.

01:04:15: and how would i can do that?

01:04:17: don't become envious this person.

01:04:19: What should I do?

01:04:20: So then I will not be envious.

01:04:22: I remember his good qualities for each quality.

01:04:26: make analysis.

01:04:27: Each quality may take maybe ten minutes.

01:04:30: Then we need so many minutes, we need around half a day.

01:04:34: If you want to evaluate all that like Sarva Bhutanam Maitra Hai... We become equal for every living entity and then we have to see are they really equal?

01:04:45: Did he make some discrimination with others?

01:04:51: And how do avoid the situation?

01:04:53: So, we can make a workshop or seminar where we discuss all these qualities.

01:04:58: from how many Salokas?

01:05:00: One two three four five six seven.

01:05:02: Seven Saloka's are there From thirteen.

01:05:05: Yeah All this And We Can Do A Workshop.

01:05:08: But This Is Not The Topic Today.

01:05:09: I Want To Tell You You Can Do Yourself At Your Home You Can Go Through All These Qualities Bhagavad Gita Chapter Twelve and Then you Can Review What You Did In The Past How You Can Improve Yeah, there are so many and then you can talk with the senior vaisnavas.

01:05:23: And get guidance.

01:05:25: but now I want to come back To You.

01:05:27: very important last slide last two slides Very important for message.

01:05:32: this is a new year message The most important which i'm coming Now.

01:05:35: next when I was doing the Bhagavad Gita course.

01:05:41: Then When we do sloka by sloka?

01:05:45: The course takes two three years because each sloka you have to explain your to read the per part and Explain make two shlokas a day, because it takes lot of time.

01:05:56: So when we do normal Bhagavad Gita course with detailed study We need many years to complete the whole Bhagavata Gita.

01:06:04: But what I did?

01:06:04: Lot's people have no patience.

01:06:07: They want you fast.

01:06:09: Then i started a course last January.

01:06:13: then eighteen chapters in eighteen weeks.

01:06:16: Every week one chapter One overview.

01:06:19: Overview each chapter Because some people demanded it.

01:06:24: Can you start a course?

01:06:25: We have no time to complete Bhagavad Gita details, so we want an overview of each chapter.

01:06:31: Life lessons from each chapter.

01:06:32: Then I do one course where i had nineteen sessions and one session for every chapter.

01:06:40: Some people were very happy with this.

01:06:42: They come in all the classes because they are motivated.

01:06:45: After eighteen sessions our bhagavad gita is done Of course, I told them that you have not completed Bhagavad Gita.

01:06:54: You just get a taste for Bhagavadh Gita.

01:06:56: It's the taste.

01:06:57: it is not complete Complete.

01:06:59: we have to do sloka by detail.

01:07:01: But they got a taste so they can study further.

01:07:03: So thats why i made this diploma course eighteen chapters in eighteen weeks or eighteen sessions.

01:07:09: but then...you know..I want tell something very interesting.

01:07:13: In that course also there were some people who asked me Praguji.

01:07:21: They told me, Prabhu ji you are doing this eighteen session these eighteen weeks.

01:07:25: This is long time.

01:07:25: I have no time for eighteen weeks.

01:07:27: Can we do maybe one or two sessions on Bhagavad Gita and give complete bhagavad gita in one session of two sessions maximum?

01:07:35: can You make some...I said Prabhu i already made a summary And now you're asking to make the summary of Summary Summaries of Summaris.

01:07:44: So some people know.

01:07:46: so..this our situation in Kalyuga.

01:07:49: This is a Kalliva situation.

01:07:50: People have less memory, less intelligence... ...less focus and less attention span.

01:07:55: The attention span is very little.

01:07:56: They want to do everything quickly as a capsule course You know?

01:08:01: Quickly.

01:08:01: they wanted the students in school university study before exams only.

01:08:07: They don't study whole year.. ..they do something like this job that job.

01:08:12: then for exam they study only few.

01:08:14: So everybody wants it fast.

01:08:16: And he said Do a summary of summary.

01:08:19: I said no, it's not possible for me.

01:08:21: Summary of summary!

01:08:23: But Krishna is very-very kind.

01:08:30: In twelfth chapter, Krishna says if you want to become my Priya, the one who imbibes these qualities there are around thirty qualities... I missed that only twenty four.

01:08:42: So around thirty quality.

01:08:43: if you imbibe then you will be my dear.

01:08:46: and maybe Arjuna was asking oh Krishna Actually, you know I have no time.

01:08:50: I am a prince... ...I've four queens and so much big kingdom.

01:08:55: that will happen to me!

01:08:58: And when i do all these things can You give something shortcut like we are asking?

01:09:04: Of course Arjuna don't need shortcuts.

01:09:06: Arjuna is great personality very great personality.

01:09:09: Arjuna knows everything.

01:09:12: he has everything already inside.

01:09:14: but Arjuna ask for us to simplify.

01:09:18: Arjuna is saying to Krishna, please give the essence.

01:09:21: And in chapter number fifteen.

01:09:26: Krishna has fulfilled the desire of Arjuna and Krishna says now this don't ask me do less what Krishna said?

01:09:35: This my favourite Saloka.

01:09:36: that's why I chose it today Yoga of the Supreme Person, Purushottam yoga.

01:09:50: Yoga of supreme person and slope number five.

01:09:53: You can also I will chant this sloka.

01:09:56: you just do with me Nirmanemoha, nirmanemoha jit sang dosa Adhyatmanitya vinivratikamah nimoha jit samvedosa adhyatmannityavinivratekamah dvandair vimukthaha sukdukhya samyar gachhantiamudha.

01:10:54: Bhagawan says to Arjun, a person who has attained these six things.

01:11:00: See, Bhagawan was telling thirty things before.

01:11:03: Now he is becoming so kind to us.

01:11:06: He's Bhakt Vatsala.

01:11:10: So he says, oh Arjun develop this if person That final destination, our eternal home.

01:11:32: The people who are not foolish Who are intelligent they come to my abode.

01:11:47: and who are these intelligent people?

01:11:50: And their most dear to me Krishna says.

01:11:52: Who is this?

01:11:53: those are nirmane moha Nirmana, nirmana.

01:11:58: They're free from false prestige .They have no...they don't know.

01:12:02: false prestige No false pride.

01:12:05: that ok I'm very proud of it.

01:12:07: i am a brahmana ,i am doctor, i am PSD,I am American, I am German, I'm scientist.

01:12:14: No, people have this bodily conception.

01:12:16: I had a big car, big house...I'm most intelligent.

01:12:20: so they say we have to free from false prestige.

01:12:23: This is one quality.

01:12:24: Krishna said, lirmāna.

01:12:25: Āmānina mānade kirtaniya sadhari āmānida mānde.

01:12:29: We give respect to others and don't expect respect for ourselves.

01:12:34: This is called lirmana.

01:12:37: If one expects respect for himself he can never give respect other because always in the Consciousness of getting respect for him.

01:12:44: So we have to become nirman.

01:12:45: and what is nirmoha?

01:12:46: Nirmoham means free from illusion Free From Illusion Means That We Considered Ourself As A Servant Of The Lord.

01:12:55: Krishna Is Our Father And The Son.

01:13:02: When We Have This Conscious-ness Then We Are Not Illusion, then Out Of Illusion that Bhagawan is Supreme and I am His servant.

01:13:13: And then, I can...and He's supreme father!

01:13:17: ...And if I'm lost from Him, I want to get

01:13:19: Him.".

01:13:20: This is Nirmoha.

01:13:21: Then Jit Sangh Dosa.

01:13:23: Jit sangha dosa is very important which Rupa Goswami has repeated also.

01:13:27: Jitsangha dosaa means free form the false association bad association Free from?

01:13:32: Sangha has two meanings Sangha mean Association and Sangham is attachment.

01:13:37: So we have to be free from attachment and how we can become free from attachment, detachment of the bad things by attaching with a good thing.

01:13:46: By attaching you know it's called param drastva nevarthate high taste...by getting higher taste.

01:13:52: if he want to get detachment form the bad thing then this should not do our effort to get detached from the bad thins but have make our attestment for the poor things when they make attesement to the good people..good association ,good prasadam temple programs Good sastras, good mantras and chanting.

01:14:13: When we make our attachment to the bad things then the bad thing will automatically go away.

01:14:17: You need not to make any extra effort To avoid those bad things.

01:14:23: Just attach them to the good things And bad things will go automatically.

01:14:26: This is an easiest process.

01:14:28: It's called parandrstva nivartate.

01:14:31: Then what Krishna says?

01:14:33: and free from the false association I already told, like Bad Company.

01:14:37: And then Adhyatminitya is very important point.

01:14:41: it's a spiritual practice and vinimirtha kama.

01:14:45: i will take some time for adhyatmitya and we'll finish because adhyatanitya is doing spiritual practice continuously.

01:14:54: Then vinimirtha kama means no lust Because lust gives anger and lust give lobha Dwandir vimukthah, free from the dualities.

01:15:04: And Krishna says if we have free-from everything then you can achieve my award.

01:15:12: and now I had a last slide by dear devotees.

01:15:15: only i need two minutes your attention very important.

01:15:17: this is message for new year.

01:15:19: all of you.

01:15:20: This was our last slide and conclusion of whole summary whole presentation Dear Devotees that Bhaktivinoda Thakur said.

01:15:32: Review six plus, I think the eighteen items which are three slokas every Ekadasi.

01:15:40: We discussed this very detailed.

01:15:42: now i want to tell you only one thing that these other five items even if we don't review those things just review these five things.

01:15:51: they're very important for us but not on everyday before sleeping or maybe after awakening.

01:16:01: It's better before going to sleep.

01:16:03: We have the list of five items, now I don't have a list of eighteen items or thirty items...I only have five items and they are Swadhyaya.

01:16:13: They're called Five S. One is Swadhhyaya.

01:16:18: Swadhyaa is regular study of scriptures.

01:16:20: So we need review at end of day what I studied something nice today.

01:16:25: Whatever i studied does it has an effect on me?

01:16:30: What is my realization?

01:16:32: Can I use it for my own upliftment, whatever i read today and can I use this for others upliftments also.

01:16:39: Can I help family with what ever they learn?

01:16:42: so we have to review every day.

01:16:44: Swadhyay means reading the scriptures.

01:16:46: So Whatever I read in whole day how its useful for me in my spiritual life How It's Useful For Society How I can apply it & make a realized knowledge how I can make it, realize not just theory.

01:17:02: Then secondly is a sadhana what i did the whole day?

01:17:06: Sadhana is So these are nine processes but we can decide which process will follow if you follow one single or two process of sadhana Sravana or Kirtanam chanting of the holy name Hare Krishna Maha Mantra.

01:17:26: so We have to do nicely DT worship at home And we have to review what did, I did my sadhana nicely with attentively without any upradhas.

01:17:36: Did this sadhana uplift me?

01:17:39: Because when you do sadhana... If only read sastras some people has habit of reading and reading.

01:17:45: but if you have weak sadhana then your reading becomes only theoretical.

01:17:52: It will not take you everywhere.

01:17:54: it would not take anywhere Anywhere!

01:17:56: It'll remain a theoretical knowledge.

01:17:58: rather Rather it will bring proud in me.

01:18:02: It'll make more proudy, I know this.

01:18:07: So sadhana is very important to purify ourselves.

01:18:11: by doing nice vandrasa of sadhana we can make our reading realize knowledge.

01:18:20: then sangha Swadhyaya first purifies our intellect and mind Then Sangha.

01:18:27: Sangha is very important, I discuss already association of good people, saintly people devotees because we become what?

01:18:35: We associate with Jaisa, Sangh and Vaisaranda.

01:18:40: yeah whatever be associated will became the same.

01:18:42: So you have to take a very careful who are associating Because Garvej in, Garvejs out G-in, G-out, Garves in, garves out Goranga In, Goranga Out And then we have Gauranga out.

01:18:57: We can, you know... ...we have to associate with the people who talk about Gaurangas and Krishna or Bhagavad Gita.

01:19:03: Then we can uplift ourselves.

01:19:07: So this is called association of like-minded devotees.

01:19:10: Then Seva!

01:19:11: Seva's very important.

01:19:14: We should review our self every evening.

01:19:17: What did I do today?

01:19:19: Because Seva could bring down our false ego can purify us.

01:19:27: Seva is very important, otherwise if we don't do seva then we go false ego increases.

01:19:31: for removing the false ego We have to do seva and you have to review every day what seva I did today?

01:19:37: Soiva can be many times.

01:19:38: You can discuss with senior devotees about your appropriate seva For you What seva suitable for you And then you will need to review it every evening.

01:19:46: Is this seva that i did nicely and what i could do today ?

01:19:49: What i would like to do tomorrow ?

01:19:52: You have to revue yourself How i can serve tomorrow already keep a planning.

01:19:56: Then after the seva, because it is said by Rupa Goswami Anukulayana Krishna Anusurinam.

01:20:01: Anu-serenam means an activity.

01:20:03: It's not theoretical.

01:20:04: Bhakti is not theoretical!

01:20:06: Its practical...it's an activity..its Anusuranam.

01:20:10: and Activity means you do some seva.

01:20:13: And last one my dear devotee very important You all four but if don't do fifth then we are gone.

01:20:20: The fourth one I am not useful.

01:20:22: The fifth one is Sadācāra In the five S, the fifth S is sadhachar.

01:20:28: So sadhacha means what we do whole day?

01:20:30: We have to review...what we did all day!

01:20:35: What you are looking at and talking about or thinking of how we spent our time as I mentioned.

01:20:42: Gauranga in, gauranga out.

01:20:43: Garvej in, garvejaout.

01:20:45: so keep away from garbage because there's many types of food that we get outside which we're eating.

01:20:51: prasadam.

01:20:52: There is a food from television, from Facebook... ...from media.

01:20:56: From news!

01:20:57: It's giving food for the mind.

01:20:58: So we have to avoid those foods Those bad things.

01:21:02: We have to accept only what is favourable of our bhakti.

01:21:05: This is called sadhachar.

01:21:06: How do you spend your time?

01:21:08: How are we behaving with others?

01:21:10: Is our behaviour agitating other?

01:21:13: Is our behavior offending others?

01:21:15: Is it offensive?

01:21:20: So this very thing and mental hygiene as I mentioned.

01:21:23: So this is called Sadhachar.

01:21:24: So my dear devotees, This a long thing we can discuss about personally.

01:21:30: We make lot of charts and write each of them About Saddhyaya, about Sadhana, about Sangha Seva & Sadhachaar.

01:21:40: so do please.

01:21:41: My recommendation is that That all will be done And then share with our seniors It's not for your own.

01:21:48: When you do the review Please make this list at your home and when you do this review share with your seniors, with your colleagues With your devotee colleagues.

01:21:58: With your like-minded devotees here I did these then it becomes further.

01:22:02: No It gives us for the more value.

01:22:06: So This is what i want to say.

01:22:07: please forgive me For the exceeding my time.

01:22:10: We started little later And I Want To Convict this important slide to you.
